Idaho State leads the series 5-4. The last meeting between the two schools was a 66-64Â overtime win by Pacific on Feb. 18, 2012 in Stockton. Prior to that meeting, the last time the two schools met was during the 1996-97 season, a game in which ISU won 81-70 in Pocatello.
Pacific is 5-3 and led in scoring by T.J. Wallace's 13.7 points and seven rebounds a game. Dulani Robinson is scoring 10.4 points a game. Pacific is scoring 67.9 points a game and giving up 63.4 points. As a team the Tigers are shooting .440 percent from the field and allowing teams to shoot .403 percent. Pacific averages 36.6 rebounds a game.
Hansen Putting up the PointsChris Hansen is on pace to become the 20th Bengal in program history to reach the 1,000 point mark for a career. In two plus seasons he has scored 914 points. He scored 342 as a sophomore and 481 as a junior last season. He has scored 91 points through the first two games.
Cleaning the GlassJeffrey Solarin proved to be one the best rebounders in the Big Sky Conference last year as he averaged 8.5 rebounds a game. In the first five games of the 2014-15 season he is averaging 8.0 boards a game. He had a season-high 14 rebounds at Denver.
The Week That WasIdaho State picked up its first win of the season Tuesday, December 2 vs. Montana Western.Â
Chris Hansen had a game-high 21 points while
Evann Hall had 17 off the bench in 18 minutes of play.
Nnamdi Ezenwa had seven rebounds. The Bengals shot 46.6 percent from the field and held Montana Western to 35.1 percent. Last week, ISU lost 60-57 at home to Utah Valley in Reed Gym.
Nnamdi Ezenwa had a career-high 18 points and eight rebounds to lead the Bengals.
Chris Hansen had 10 points. The Bengals shot 39.3 percent from the field and UVU shot 50 percent. The Bengals only turned the ball over five times in the loss.
Close in the First HalfDid you know that ISU has trailed by three points or less at halftime in three of their four losses. ISU trailed 31-29 at Denver, 32-31 at Washington State and 28-25 vs. Utah Valley.
Bengal Bites- In the last nine seasons the most road games ISU has won in a season is five in 2005-06.

- ISU is 4-60 in non-conference road/neutral court games over the last six years. ISU is 18-13 in non-conference home games over that same time period. Before the 93-90 overtime win at USF, the last road non conference win was Nov. 28, 2009, a 68-65 at UMKC. The Bengals beat Troy, 77-73 on Dec. 22, 2010 at Utah State.
