POCATELLO, Idaho –
Lindsey Reed scored a career-high 34 points to lead Idaho State to a 75-65 win over Montana State Thursday evening in Big Sky Conference play.
Reed was a big part of the Idaho State offense from the start of the game.
She scored 14 of her 34 points in the first half on 5-10 shooting.
"I knew from her attitude before the game that she was in a different mindset," Head Coach
Seton Sobolewski said. "I felt like she was either going to have a really good a game or a really bad game and she played really well right from the opening tipoff."

Kara Jenkins didn't slough in the first frame either; she scored 10 of her 15 points in the half.
Despite the big first half by both players, the Bengals still trailed the Bobcats 33-32 at the intermission. Kalli Durham had 15 of her team-high 19 points in the first half to pace MSU.
Montana State shot 14-31 from the field (45.2 percent) in the first half.
The Bengals took the lead early in the second half but it wouldn't hold. There were 11 lead changes and seven ties after halftime.
Reed had a more productive second half than the first as 15 of her 20 second-half points came at the free throw line. She missed just one free throw on 18 attempts.

Rebecca Schrimpsher hit a 3-pointer with 4:53 to play in the game. The Bengals never trailed again.
Idaho State extended its lead to 73-62 on a free throw by
Kara Jenkins with 1:00 left in the game. The 11-point advantage was the biggest of the night.
Ashley Brumwell hit a 3-pointer to cut the Bengal lead to 73-65 on the next Bengal possession.
Reed hit two free throws on the next possession to ice the game and set the final score at 75-65.
Along with Reed and Jenkins
Jessica Tingey scored 10 points to round out the Bengals in double figures.
Along with Durham's 19 points, Jasmine Hommes scored 15 and Brumwell scored 12.
Idaho State out-rebounded Montana State 40-29. Brumwell lead MSU with five rebounds. Reed and Tingey had seven rebounds each to lead ISU.
The Bengals host Montana Saturday at 2 p.m. at Reed Gym. The Grizzlies lost to Weber State 56-54 Thursday in Ogden but are 10-5 Big Sky play and 16-7 overall.
