POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State hosts Montana, Saturday, at 2 p.m. in Reed Gym. The Bengals look to build on a 75-65 win over Montana State, Thursday.
Lindsey Reed scored a career-high 34 points to lead ISU to the victory.
Montana defeated ISU, 67-48, in the first meeting of the season when the Bengals struggled to score in the first half.
Reed leads ISU in scoring at 16.2 points per game.
Jessica Tingey scores 11.8 PPG and leads the Bengals with 6.9 rebounds per game.
Idaho State is tied for fifth place in the Big Sky conference with an 8-7 record. ISU has a 10-14 record overall.
ABOUT MONTANA
The Grizzlies sit in a tie with Southern Utah for second place in the Big Sky with a 10-5 record. The Lady Griz are 16-8 overall but have a 4-6 record on the road this season. UM won seven of its last eight games before falling to Weber State, Thursday, 56-54.
Kellie Cole, the reigning Big Sky Player of the Week, leads the Lady Griz with 13.9 points per game. Torry Hill scores 12 PPG and Jordan Sullivan scores 11.8 PPG. Sullivan leads UM with 7.7 rebounds per game.
The Griz are mentored by the dean of Big Sky coaches, Robin Selvig. In his 36th season at the helm, Selvig has 814 wins. He has led the Lady Griz to 20 NCAA tournaments.Â
LAST MATCHUP: SLOW FIRST HALF DOOMS BENGALS IN MISSOULA
The Montana Lady Griz outscored the Idaho State Bengals 35-15 in the first half en route to a 67-48 victory at Dahlberg Arena.
The Bengals were 4-of-23 (17.4 percent) from the floor in the first half and had nine turnovers compared to just two for Montana.
The Bengals picked up the pace significantly in the second half and made 13-of-29 field goals, led by
Jessica Tingey, who scored 10 points on 5-of-12 shooting in the second half.
Kara Jenkins had 10 points and a game high nine rebounds for a near double-double.
Jordan Sullivan led the Lady Griz with 17 points and nine rebounds and Kelli Cole scored 11.
The Bengals were 17-of-52 from the field (32.7 percent) while Montana shot 25-of-65 (38.5 percent).

Lindsey Reed scored a career-high 34 points to lead Idaho State to a 75-65 win over Montana State Thursday evening in Big Sky Conference play.
Reed was a big part of the Idaho State offense from the start of the game. She scored 14 of her 34 points in the first half on 5-10 shooting.
Along with Reed,
Kara Jenkins scored 15 points and
Jessica Tingey added 10 to round out the Bengals in double figures.
Kalli Durham scored 19 points to pace MSU. Jasmine Hommes scored 15 and Ashley Brumwell added 12 for the Bobcats.
Idaho State out-rebounded Montana State 40-29. Brumwell lead MSU with five rebounds. Reed and Tingey had seven rebounds each to lead ISU.
SOBOLEWSKI BECOMES THE WINNINGEST COACH IN ISU HISTORY
The win over Northern Arizona was Head Coach
Seton Sobolewski's 94th career victory. The win pushed Sobolewski past Jon Newlee as the winningest coach in ISU history.
Sobolewski has led Idaho State to the Big Sky tournament each year of his tenure, including 2012 when the Bengals won the conference championship to advance to the NCAA tournament.
REED IN THE RECORD BOOKS
With 19 points against Illinois-Chicago
Lindsey Reed surpassed 1000 career points. She is just the 17th player in ISU history to join the 1000 point club. She hit the 500 career rebound mark against Black Hills State in the first game of the season.
Against Southern Utah Reed moved into the top 10 all-time in rebounds, with 640 career rebounds she is ninth in ISU History. Her 1,359 career points ranks fourth in ISU history.

TRIP TO THE WNIT
The Bengals played in their second-consecutive post season national tournament in 2013. The Bengals played Brigham Young in Provo in the opening round of the WNIT. The Bengals fell 69-54 to the Cougars.
Ashleigh Vella scored a team high 15 points and
Jessa Jeppesen grabbed eight rebounds in the loss to BYU.
TWO STARTERS RETURN FOR THE BENGALS
Kara Jenkins and
Lindsey Reed return for the Bengals. Jenkins comes into the season with 580 career points and 479 career rebounds. She has played in 93 games and has 53 starts for Idaho State.
Reed has 970 career points and 492 career rebounds. She has 92 games under her belt including 89 starts in her career at ISU.
OTHER RETURNERS FOR THE BENGALS
Along with the two starters the Bengals have three other seniors, one junior and one sophomore to round out the list of returning players.

Jessica Tingey, formerly Jessica Jensen, has 64 career points and 65 career rebounds. Senior
Alissa Willard, a JC transfer, played in 15 games in 2012-13 and scored four points. Senior
Sheryl Bitter has the most experience of last season's non-starters; she had played in 77 games and scored 109 points in her career at Idaho State.
Junior Becca Schimpsher has played in 35 career games and has 46 points. Sophomore
Anna Lee Policicchio played in only six games last season but spent time over the summer with the Canadian U19 National team.

BENGALS RANKED FIFTH IN BOTH PRESEASON POLLS
The Idaho State Women's basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the Big Sky Conference by both the coaches and the media.
The first five spots were the same in both polls. Eastern Washington is the favorite followed by Montana, Northern Colorado, Montana State then Idaho State.
In the coaches poll the Bengals were picked just above Southern Utah followed by Portland State, North Dakota, Sacramento State, Northern Arizona and Weber State. In the Media Poll Sacramento State was picked in the sixth spot followed by Portland State Southern Utah, North Dakota, Northern Arizona and Weber State. ISU received four first place votes in the media poll out of 30 ballots cast.
