Bengal Women fall 4-0 to Portland State in Season Finale

VANCOUVER, Wash. –
Idaho State women's tennis finished the season with a 4-0 loss to Portland State at the Club Green Meadows in Vancouver, Wash. Saturday.
 
Idaho State forfeited the No. 3 doubles match and the No. 6 singles match because of injury.
 
In the No. 1 doubles match Megan Govi and Dane Vorster defeated Laura Theus and Marian Tangarife 8-1 to clinch the doubles point and take a 2-0 lead.
 
At No. 1 Vorster defeated Tangerife 6-0, 6-1 to take a 3-0 lead. The Vikings clinched the win when Sabida –Elena Preda defeated Madelyn Weltzin 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3.
 
The final three singles matches were suspended due to time constraints.
 
The Bengals finished the season with 6-13 overall record and a 3-7 record in Big Sky play.
