POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State head women's basketball coach
Seton Sobolewski named former Texas A&M – Kingsville Head Coach
Mike Trujillo and former Idaho State player
Andrea Videbeck as assistant coaches.
Trujillo brings over a decade of coaching experience to his new position as the first assistant at ISU.
"We are excited to have someone as experienced as Mike join our staff," Sobolewski said. "He's been coaching at the college level for over 10 years and has head coaching experience at the Division II level. "
Before his three-year stint as the head man at Kingsville, Trujillo was an assistant coach at Texas State University where he helped coach the Bobcats to the 07-08 Southland conference regular season championship.
He also coached at Northern Arizona, Sam Houston State and Arizona State.
"I've known Mike since his days at Sam Houston State." Sobolewski said. "He has a great range of experience including within the Big Sky. He graduated from Northern Arizona University and also coached at NAU under Laurie Kelly."
Videbeck was a point guard for the Bengals from 2007 to 2010. She was named honorable mention All-Big Sky in 2009-10.
This will be Videback's first job as a college coach but Sobolewski is excited to have her energy, basketball knowledge and Bengal pride on his staff.
"Vi was a great point guard for us a few years back and understands our system," Sobolewski said. "She has a passion for basketball and a knack for coaching. We are excited to have her back."
