POCATELLO, Idaho- The 2016 football schedule is complete. The Idaho State football program will play five home games and six road games, two being Pac 12 teams in Colorado and Oregon State.
The Bengals open the season Sept. 3 vs. Simon Fraser. This will be the second meeting against the school from Burnaby British Columbia, Canada. In 2014, ISU won 66-14 in Pocatello.
The Bengals then play at Colorado on Sept. 10 and Oregon State on Sept. 17. This will be the first meeting against Colorado and the second against Oregon State. In 2007, ISU lost 61-10 in Corvallis.
Idaho State begins Big Sky Conference play on Sept. 24 at home vs. Sacramento State and then travels to Portland State on Oct. 1. After a bye week on Oct. 8, ISU plays at NAU on Oct. 15. Idaho State then hosts North Dakota on Oct. 22 and SUU on Oct. 29.
The month of November has the Bengals playing at Montana on Nov. 5 and Eastern Washington on Nov. 12 before closing out the season at home vs. Weber State on Nov. 19.
Kickoff times will be announced later in the summer.
