Bengals Fall Just Short in Home Opener

POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's tennis team recorded their most points of the young 2015 season as they fell 4-3 to Montana State Friday afternoon at Reed Gym.

The Bengals split the six singles matches with Marian Tangarife, Laura Theus and Laura Gutierrez each recording victories in straight sets.

Tangarife has won two singles matches in a row after picking up a victory at Weber State earlier this week.

The Bobcats won the other three singles as well as both doubles matches.  The third doubles match was left unfinished at 3-3 after the 'Cats won the first two. 

ISU will return to action on February 28 when they host Portland State at Reed Gym.
