Bengals Conclude LV Tournament

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Krzysztof Stempien continued his dominant run as the Bengals split a pair of matches against Mesa Community College (6-1) and Seattle University (4-2) to conclude play at the Las Vegas Tournament.

Stempien ran his singles match winning streak to seven consecutive matches as he defeated Mesa CC (6-2, 5-7 and 6-2) and Seattle University (7-6 and 7-6). The Poland native improved to 8-3 on the season.

Stempien also won his doubles match paired with Josh Goodwin.

Bjorn Scheepbouwer also won both of his matches over the two days.

The Bengals finished the tournament with a 2-2 record. 

Idaho State returns to conference play Thursday when they travel to Flagstaff to take on Big Sky opponent Northern Arizona.
