Bengals Hold Advantage as Plethora of Possibilities Remain in Regular Season Finale

GAME NOTES | LIVE VIDEO | LIVE IDAHO STATE AUDIO | LIVE STATS

Idaho State enters the final game of the regular season  with a plethora of possibilities to clinch a bid in the Big Sky tournament.  The easiest scenario is to beat the University of Idaho.  The Bengals and Vandals square off at 3 p.m. MT from Moscow.

The Bengals currently hold a one-game lead on the Vandals for the eighth and final spot in the Big Sky tournament.

ISU will qualify for the post-season tournament if any of the four results happen. A victory over Idaho, Montana defeating Montana State,  Northern Colorado beating North Dakota or Weber State defeating Eastern Washington. If all off those games go in the opposite direction then the Bengals will be left out.

The top eight teams make the conference tournament.  ISU has qualified for the post-season tournament in 11 consecutive seasons.

If Idaho State makes the conference tournament they can finish anywhere from the fifth to the eighth seed.
