CHUBBUCK, Idaho – It was a day of first for the Idaho State men's tennis team as the Bengals defeated Eastern Washington Saturday afternoon at Capall Park.
ISU registered their first team victory of the season picking up three points in singles courtesy of
Daniel Loebel,
Krzysztof Stempien and
Bjorn Scheepbouwer while also collecting the deciding doubles point as well.
Each of the ISU singles' victories came in straight sets.
The match was played on the new outdoor tennis courts at Capall Park in Chubbuck. It is the first time ISU has played outside at home in many years.
