Mike Kramer Post-Game Quotes"I liked how we played defensively in the first half without much support from our offense, who couldn't find a way to generate much. In the second we were able to generate a little bit of offense but the defense had spilled it. That is not representative of us in the second half, especially on defense."
"It is a nonconference September game. We will be all right. We are still trying to recover from the loss of two great players. That is an obvious fact on every play."
"I saw some improvement, especially at quarterback where we played a little bit better. He was a little errant and high during the middle of the game but he played with pretty good poise in keeping the rush off of him. We have to be able to finish drives."
"Our in ability to score in the first half was the key point in the ball game. Give Boise State a lot of credit. They are pretty good and they play well at home. I hope there starting quarterback is ok. They played a plethora of quarterbacks and they got better with each one."
"We didn't play well in the second half at all on defense."
"We have to get better on defense and find a way to finish drives. It was bad coaching on my part when it comes to finishing drives. The plays we called down there are inadequate for us to finish drives. That is one me. We had zero points and we were in the red zone a couple of times."
