Live StatsPOCATELLO, Idaho -- The Idaho State women's basketball team looks to extend its win streak to four games as the Bengals head to Flagstaff, Ariz. to take on the Lumberjacks of Northern Arizona Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. MST at the Walkup Skydome.
SERIES REVIEW: WINNING WAYSIdaho State has dominated the series against Northern Arizona, winning 11 of the last 13 matchups. Idaho State lost the last meeting 64-47 in Flagstaff, Ariz. but had won seven in a row leading up to that Feb. 12, 2015 matchup.
A LOOK BACK: THIS DATE IN HISTORYThis is only the second time in program history that the Bengals have played on Jan. 30. The last time ISU suited up on Jan. 30 the Bengals lost at Sacramento State 80-71 in 2009-10.
FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE CLOSE-UPDuring conference play, ISU has limited each of its Big Sky opponents to under 40 percent shooting from the field. The Bengals rank third in the conference in field goal percentage defense, forcing their opponents to an average of 36.9 percent shooting. ISU ranks second in three-point field goal percentage defense, forcing opponents into shooting an average of 27.2 percent from beyond-the-arc. The Bengals are also one of the best shooting teams in the conference, shooting an average of 41.9 percent from the floor.
INSIDE DOMINANCEIn each of ISU's last four games, the Bengals have outscored their opponent in the paint; over the last three games, the Bengals have outscored their opponents 90-54 inside including a lopsided 42-24 margin against Weber State on Jan. 23.
BALANCED SCORING = ISU VICTORYSo far this season, Idaho State is 9-3 when three or more Bengals reach double-figures. When two or fewer players score 10 or more points, Idaho State is 1-5.
