POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team lost 85-51 to Utah State on Saturday evening at the Dee Glen Spectrum in Logan, Utah in front of a crowd of 8,923.
Utah State led for all but 33 seconds of the game.
Ethan Telfair led the ISU scoring with 14 points.
Geno Luzcando had 11 points and six rebounds and
Gary Chivichyan had nine points.
Novak Topalovic had four points and six rebounds.
Idaho State shot 31.6 percent from the field while the Aggies shot 50 percent. ISU was 6-12 from the free throw line and 9-30 from the three-point line.
Idaho State was out rebounded 49-32. The Bengals had 15 turnovers while USU finished with 11.
"We played poorly tonight and you have to give Utah State credit," Idaho State coach
Bill Evans said. "They did a great job against our defense. They were better tonight. To this point they are the best team we have played."
Idaho State returns to the court for a Nov. 22 contest vs. Eastern Kentucky in Cancun. Tipoff is at 1 p.m. The Bengals then play Georgia State or NJIT on Wednesday Nov. 23.
