POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State returns home for two straight games starting Saturday, Dec. 10 vs. Bristol. The game tips off at 7 p.m. at ICCU Court in Holt Arena. The Bengals then host Montana Tech on Friday, Dec. 16, at 6 p.m. at ICCU Court in Reed Gym. The game will be a double header with the women, who also play Montana Tech following the men's game.

Series vs. Bristol
This is the first meeting between the two schools.
Scouting Bristol
Idaho State is one of three Division I universities Bristol plays this year. Bristol has already played UC Riverside and Utah State. The school plays all 24 games on the road. Bristol is located in Anaheim, Calif., and is a for-profit institution that began in 1991 as Kensington College, focused on paralegal training. The university is Orange County's longest running school dedicated to legal-support staff training. The name was changed to Bristol in 2011.
Idaho State vs. Non Division I Schools
The last time Idaho State lost to a non Division I team was an 86-83 overtime loss in Pocatello to BYU-Hawaii on Dec. 18, 1991. During the Joe O'Brien era, Idaho State played nine non Division 1 games and won by an average score of 75-65. Of the nine games, five were won by single digits. During the Doug Oliver era, ISU played 15 non Division I games in eight years and the Bengals won by an average score of 88.2-62.6. All but three games were won by 10 points or more. In the
Bill Evans era, ISU won all five game non-Division I games by a combined score of 589-494.
Tough Nonconference Schedule
Idaho State's nonconference Division I opponents have a combined record of 60-39. As of Friday, CSUN is the only team with a losing record at 3-6. Wisconsin is 8-2, Texas Tech 8-1, New Mexico 6-3, UVU 5-3, Utah State 4-4, Eastern Kentucky 6-4, NJIT 5-5 and Lamar is 4-4. Upcoming opponents BYU is 6-3 and Boise State is 5-4.
