Bengals Host Sacramento State on Saturday at Holt Arena

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team hosts Sacramento State on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. at ICCU Court in Holt Arena. Series vs. Sacramento State
Idaho State leads the series 27-18. The Bengals are 15-8 vs. Sacramento State in Pocatello and
11-10 on the road. Sacramento State has won four of the last five meetings with three of the four
losses being decided by six points or less. ISU lost 62-59 in in Pocatello last year and 84-78 in
Sacramento on Jan. 30, 2014. The Bengals also lost 53-52 in Sacramento on March 2, 2013. The
last win at Sac State was Jan. 14, 2012 (68-67). This year's loss in Sacramento was decided by 11 points.

Scouting Sacramento State
Sacramento State is 10-12 and 3-8 in Big Sky Conference play. Justin Strings leads the Hornets in scoring at 14.2 points and 6.6 rebounds. He is averaging 15.1 points and 7.9 rebounds in conference play. Marcus Graves is scoring 13.7 points overall and 13.3 in league. Sac State is scoring 72.1 points overall and 68.2 in conference play while shooting .449 percent from the field. The Hornets are averaging 35.9 rebounds a game and 34.3 in Big Sky action.

Notes From the Win vs. Portland State
- Ethan Telfair's 35 points was his second highest output of the season and his third 30 point game of the season.
- The Bengals have had six different games where a player has scored 30 points or more. Ethan Telfair has three games of 30 or more (37, 30, 35), Geno Luzcando two (30 twice) and Ali Faruq-Bey (32).
-  The 2,602 in attendance was a season-best.
- Stephen Lennox had a career-best eight rebounds in 12 first-half minutes. He also scored four points, had two assists and one block during this stretch.
- Erik Nakken played a career-best 24 minutes.

Last year the Bengals made 148 3's on 420 attempts.  ISU was 166-453 in 2013-14 and 163-515 in 2012-13. The 2011-12 season saw ISU make 193 3's on 562 attempts.
