POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball returns to the road after going 4-0 on a four-game homestand at Holt Arena. The Bengals close out nonconference play this week at BYU on Thursday, Dec. 21 and at CSUN on Saturday, Dec. 23.Tipoff is at 7 p.m. on Thursday and 4 p.m. mountain time on Saturday in Northridge. Scouting BYU
BYU is 9-2 and has won six straight games. Elijah Bryant leads BYU in scoring at 17.4 points a game. Yoeli Childs is scoring 16.1 points a game and averaging a team-best 8.5 rebounds. TJ Haws is scoring 12 points a game. BYU averages 76.7 points a game while holding opponents to 68.7 points a game. The Cougars shoot .479 percent from the field, .372 percent from the three-point line and .757 percent from the free throw line. Ingram Finds The Open Man

Kyle Ingram, who is a 6-8 forward, has turned into one the best passers on the team as he has 20 assists to only four turnovers. The only other Bengal who plays significant minutes who has a positive assist to turnover ratio is back up guard Sam Dowd, who has 12 assists to 10 turnovers.
Stutzman Plays
Idaho State's Jared Stutzman received word the morning of Nov. 22 that he would he immediately be eligible to play this season. He was not on the trip to San Jose but once he received word he was good to play he boarded a plan that morning and landed late afternoon where he played and scored 12 points in 15 minutes off the bench in the loss at San Jose State. In the following game against Seattle he earned his first start of the season and in his first home game vs. Bethesda he scored a game-high 20 points.
He is averaging 13.7 points, shooting 58.3 percent from the floor and 52 percent from the three-point line.

- This is the first time since the 2015-16 season ISU has won four straight games.

Mocsan In Starting Lineup
Since being inserted into the starting lineup the second game of the season, Balint Mocsan is scoring 14.8 points a game while shooting 55.8 percent from the field and 51 percent from the three-point line (25-49). He had a career-high 23 points vs. CSUN and made six 3-pointers on nine attempts.
A Look Back
Idaho State has won four-straight games, all coming at home at ICCU Court in Holt Arena. The win streak started with a 92-71 win over Bethesda on Dec. 1. ISU then beat CSUN 74-66 on Dec. 6 and Northwest Nazarene 73-57 on Dec. 9. Against Northwest Nazarene Jared Stutzman led four Bengals in double figures with 17 points on 6-7 shooting from the field.

Kyle Ingram had 10 points and 10 rebounds. ISU shot 45 percent from the field and out rebounded Northwest Nazarene 51-27. In the win over Youngstown State Balint Mocsan led four players in double figures with 17 points. ISU shot 56.9 percent from the floor and hit 11 3-pointers on 19 attempts.
