POCATELLO, Idaho –

SCOUTING NORTH DAKOTA

LAST TIME OUT: This is the second meeting between ISU and UND. In their last meeting on Jan. 21, UND escaped with a 65-62 win in overtime. Neither team led by more than six points the entire contest. With 2:10 remaining in regulation, Saylair Grandon squared up to hit a trey to tie the game 51-all; neither team scored to send it to overtime. ISU limited UND to just three field goals in the extra period, but the Fighting Hawks converted 8-of-9 free throws to seal the win.

Currently, UND averages 72.1 points per game (3rd in BSC) and 42.5 rebounds per game (2nd in BSC) while shooting 39.9 percent from the floor. Four players average double figures for the Fighting Hawks, led by Makailah Dyer at 14.3 points per game. Lexi Klabo leads the rebounding effort at 8.4 per game, good for second in the Big Sky.

North Dakota carries a 16-8 overall record with an 11-2 mark in conference play. UND has dropped games to Montana State and Eastern Washington and currently ranks tied for first in the conference standings.

The Fighting Hawks are led by Head Coach Travis Brewster who is in his fourth season.
