POCATELLO, Idaho- Coming off its first two-game win streak of the season, the Idaho State men's basketball team returns to the road for a Feb. 9 contest at Portland State and Feb. 11 game at Sacramento State. Both games begin at 8 p.m. mountain time.

Scouting Portland State
Portland State is 11-10 and 4-6 in Big Sky Conference play. PSU is 7-2 at home and 4-8 on the road. The Viking offense is scoring 86.7 points a game and giving up 81.1. The team shoots .485 percent from the field and .354 percent from the three-point line. Portland State has six players scoring in double figures led by Braxton Tucker's 16.8 and Deontae North's 14.2 points. De'Sean Parsons is scoring 13.9 points and averaging a team-best 6.3 rebounds a game.
Series vs. Portland State
Portland State leads the series 28-20 but the Bengals have won five of the last six meetings. Idaho State swept the series last year, winning 73-70 in Portland and 88-71 in Pocatello. ISU's only loss in the last six meetings was 78-74 in overtime in Portland on March 8, 2014. The last three meetings in Portland have been decided by three points or less.
Series vs. Sacramento State
Idaho State leads the series 28-18 but the Hornets have won four of the last six meetings. The teams split the season-series last year, winning 66-64 in Pocatello and losing 82-71 in Sacramento. Idaho State's last win in Sacramento was 68-67 on January 14, 2012.
