POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team made a school-record 19 3-pointers and had six players score in double figures, led by 18 from
Gary Chivichyan to beat Bethesda 115-60 on Monday night in Reed Gym.
Idaho State never trailed and led by as many as 57 points late in the second half. The 115 points tied for the fifth most points scored in a game by a Bengal team.
The Bengals played everybody on the bench at least four minutes and only two players played 20 minutes or more.
Chivichyan scored his 18 points on six of nine shooting from the three-point line in 20 minutes.
Balint Mocsan had 17 points on five of nine shooting from the field.
Jared Stutzman had 16 points and
Chidi Udengwu had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Alonzo Walker added 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in 21 minutes of play.
The Bengal defense held Bethesda to 32.3 percent shooting from the field.
Idaho State led 55-33 at halftime and then scored 60 second half points.
