POCATELLO, Idaho- The No. 24/25 Idaho State football team plays its final road game of the 2018 regular season on Saturday, Nov. 10. Kickoff is at 5 p.m. mountain time with Jerry Miller and Mike Calley calling the action on 102.5 KMGI. The game can be viewed on Pluto TV. About Cal Poly
Cal Poly is 3-6 and 2-4 in Big Sky Conference play. The Mustangs are coming off a 49-42 loss at Montana State last week. Cal Poly averages 26.7 points a game and gives up 40.2. Cal Poly rushes for 328.7 yards and allows 284.1. The Mustanges average 407.8 yards of total offense and give up 468.4.  Joe Protheroe leads the rushing attack with 1,367 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is averaging 151.9 yards a game. Quarterback Khaleel Jenkins has rushed for 580 yards and nine touchdowns and thrown for 490 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver J.J. Koski has caught 26 passes for 484 yards. Nik Navarro leads the defense with 66 tackles, three sacks and one fumble recovery.

Series vs. Cal Poly
Cal Poly leads the series 13-8. The Bengals have won two of the last three meetings. ISU won 38-34 last year and 30-28 in 2014. Both games were in Holt arena. ISU has lost four straight in San Luis Obispo. The last road win at Cal Poly was 38-31 on Nov. 15, 2003.

Post Game Portland State Notes
- The win guarantees the Bengals there second winning record since 2014 and only the fourth since the 2002 season. ISU is also guaranteed a winning record in conference play for only the fourth time since 2002.
- Tanner Gueller's four touchdown passes moves him into a tie for third place for most touchdown passes in a season with 24. Justin Arias holds the record with 38 in 2014 an Mike Machurek threw 29 in 1981.
- Michael Dean and Mitch Gueller's two touchdown receptions gives them 19 for their career and tied for seventh with Madison Mangum in career touchdown receptions.
- Mitch Gueller is one of only six players in Idaho State history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in a single-season. He has 1,091 receiving yards, ranking him fourth on the ISU single-season list for most receiving yards.
- Ty Flanagan's rushing touchdown moves him into eighth place in the ISU record book for career rushing touchdowns with 18.
- Mitch Gueller moved into fourth place on the all-time receiving yards as he now has 2,471 yards. Rodrick Rumble holds the school record for most receiving yards in a career with 2,863.
- Mitch Gueller's 46 yard reception tied for his 10th longest reception of his career.
- Christian Holland has had 10 tackles or more in five of his last six games.
- Idaho State scored a touchdown on its opening possession of the game for only the second time this season. ISU also scored a touchdown on its opening possession vs. Western State.

- ISU has rushed for over 200 yards in six of nine games.
- Tanner Gueller's 492 passing yards against Idaho is the third most by an FCS quarterback this season.
- Michael Dean's 210 receiving yards at Liberty ranks as the 15th best mark by an FCS receiver this year.
- Michael Dean is one of three FCS players to have four receiving touchdowns in a game.
- Tanner Gueller's eight touchdown passes vs. Idaho is the most by an FCS or FBS quarterback this year.

Bengals in The Rankings
Idaho State moved into the rankings this week as they are ranked No. 24 in the STATS poll and 25th in the coaches poll. This is the first time the Bengals are ranked since the start of the 2015 season when they were ranked 22nd and 24th in the polls. Prior to 2015, Idaho State was ranked No. 25 in the final Sports Network poll in 2014.

Big Play Bengals
ISU has tallied 30 plays of 30 yards or more. In 2017, ISU had 27 plays of 30 yards or more. In 2014, the Bengals had 35 plays of 30 yards or more. Of those  30 plays of 30 yards or more this year, 13 have gone for more than 50 yards. The 2016 team had 10 plays go for 50 yards or more in 2016.
