Bengals Host Idaho on Thursday in Reed Gym

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team plays its final two home games of the 2017-18 season on Feb. 22 and 24 vs. Idaho and Eastern Washington. Both games are in Reed Gym and tip at 7 p.m. The Bengals tip off with Idaho  on Thursday, Feb 22 and  and Eastern Washington on Feb. 24. Scouting  Idaho
Idaho is 19-7 and 11-3 in Big Sky Conference play. The Vandals are 8-3 on the road and 6-1 on the road in Big Sky Conference play. Victor Sanders leads Idaho 's attack with a scoring average of 19.2 points a game. He is shooting .468 percent from the field. Brayon Blake is scoring 16.7 points and averaging 9.5 rebounds a game. Idaho scores 75.3 points a game and gives up 67.9. The Vandals shoot .471 percent from the field, .417 percent from the three-point line and .734 percent from the free throw line. UI averages 37.3 rebounds, 15.1 assists, 13.7 turnovers, 4.6 steals and 2.7 blocks a game.

In conference play Idaho averages 77.4 points a game and shoots .494 percent from the field. The Vandals shoot .423 percent from the three-point line and .743 percent from the free throw line. Sanders is scoring 18.8 points a game in league while Blake is scoring 18.3 points and averaging 9.3 rebounds.

This week are the final two home games for four seniors. Erik Nakken, Geno Luzcando, Kyle Ingram and Hayes Garrity will be honored prior to the start of Saturday's game vs. Eastern Washington.
