Box Score BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho State women's tennis team fell 5-2 to Air Force in a neutral site match Saturday afternoon in Boise, Idaho. The Bengals were swept in doubles play and dropped four-of-six singles matches to give the Falcons the win.
Huibre-Mare Botes and
Louise-Mare Botes fell early to TJ Fumagali and Elizabeth Barnickel 6-0 at No. 1 doubles while Air Force completed the doubles sweep with a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play, Idaho State picked up wins at No. 3 and No. 6 singles;
Louise-Mare Botes defeated Meredith Laskey 6-4, 7-5 at No. 3 while
Angela Walker bested Carley Hatcliff 6-4, 7-5 at No. 6 singles.
Idaho State continues play at Eastern Washington Monday, March 18 at 5 p.m. MST.
