OGDEN, Utah – The Idaho State men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at Weber State Tuesday afternoon in Ogden. The Bengals dropped the doubles point and picked up one singles win in the loss.
In doubles play, Idaho State (3-7, 1-3 BSC) fell 6-1 at No. 3 doubles as Hou-En Chen and Nick Werner defeated
Keegan Sullivan and
Francis Filipovich 6-1. The Bengals responded as
Peter Trhac and
David Felix picked up a 6-3 win over Stefan Cooper and Kris Van Wyk at No. 1 doubles to even doubles play 1-1. Weber State claimed the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play, ISU's
Adam Hornby picked up ISU's lone singles win with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Bo-Han Li at No. 6 singles.
Idaho State continues play Thursday, March 22 at North Dakota. The match is set to start at 10 a.m. MST.
