Box Score GREELEY, Colo. – The Idaho State women's tennis team closed the regular season with a big 6-1 win at Northern Colorado Saturday afternoon in Greeley, Colo.
Idaho State (10-12, 7-5 BSC) swept doubles play to open the match, beginning with a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles as
Hristina Cvetkovic and
Megan Poe defeated Tristen Bryant-Otake and Anna Battersby.
Melissa Coburn and
Madison Fenske sealed the doubles point with a 7-5 win at No. 3 doubles.
Huibre-Mare Botes and
Louise-Mare Botes also picked up a doubles win with a 7-5 win over Raffa Mora and Sarina Chhabra at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play, the Bengals picked up wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6. Northern Colorado (5-16, 1-10) picked up its lone win of the afternoon at No. 3 singles as Bryant-Otake bested Coburn 6-4, 7-6 (2).
Idaho State continues play next week at the Big Sky Conference Championships at the Phoenix Tennis Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
