Game 4 Preview: Idaho State Hosts Northern Arizona on Homecoming

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State football team begins a two-game homestand on Saturday, Sept. 29 with a 2:35 p.m. kickoff vs. Northern Arizona on Homecoming. About Northern Arizona
Northern Arizona is scoring 23.8 points a game and giving up 26. NAU rushes for 148.2 and gives up 216.2 while the passing game averages 264.8 yards and gives up 204.2. NAU averages 413 yards of total offense and gives up 420.5. Joe Logan leads the rushing attacked with 162 yards on 42 carries. Quarterback Daniel Bridge-Gadd has stepped in and thrown for 265 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 106 yards on 39 carries. Emmanual Butler leads the receivers with 271 yards on 14 receptions and three touchdowns. Kam'ron Johnson and Jake Casteel lead the defense with 32 tackles. Johnson also has two interceptions. NAU is 1-0 in Big Sky play and 2-2 overall.

Series vs. Northern Arizona
Northern Arizona leads the series 34-17-1. NAU has won 10 straight meetings vs. the Bengals. The last ISU win was 24-17 in Holt Arena on Nov. 13, 2004. The Lumberjacks won the last meeting 52-7 on Oct. 15, 2016. This is NAU's first trip to Pocatello since the 2012 season, a game that resulted in a 50-10 win for the Lumberjacks.
