POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State volleyball team fell 3-2 to Weber State on Oct. 1 in Reed Gym.
The Bengals came out strong winning the first set, 25-16.
After a 25-21 second set victory from Weber, ISU came back winning the third set, 25-20.
The fourth and fifth set were in favor of the Wildcats, 25-14 and 15-9.
Senior
Haylie Keck and senior
Brooke Pehrson lead the team with 11 kills each. Keck also recorded 21 digs and Pehrson finished with a .308 attacking percentage. Sophomore
Raegan Steiner had nine kills in the match.
Redshirt freshman
Andri Dewey tallied 34 assists.
Sophomore
Mahala Bradburn led the Bengals defensively with 22 digs followed by senior
Nikole Cook with 15.
Idaho State returns home on Friday, Oct. 4 to host Northern Colorado at 7 p.m. (MST) in Reed Gym.
Admission to the match is $7 for adults, $5 for kids, and free for ISU students. Tickets can be purchased at the door or call 208-282-FANS for tickets and information.
