POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team plays at Washington State on Sunday, November 17 at 2 p.m. Dennis Patchin will call the game live on 102.5 KMGI with the pregame show at 1:30 p.m. The game will be televised on the Pac 12 Network. Washington State is 1-1. The Cougars score 73.5 points a game and give up 62. Washington State shoots .372 percent from the field, .267 percent from the three-point line while averaging 42 rebounds and 11 assists a game. CJ Elleby scores 18.5 points a game and Isaac Bonton scores 15.5 points.

Recapping Last Week
Idaho State has won two straight games after beating Montana Western 80-48 on Nov. 14. Chier Maker had 18 points and  seven rebounds. Chidi Undengwu had nine rebounds. The Bengals shot 55 percent from the field and held Montana Western to 37 percent shooting.  Idaho State opened the season with a 54-40 loss at Wyoming. The Bengals then beat Air Force in Colorado Springs, 89-79. Tarik Cool had 41 points to lead the Bengals to the victory. It was the second straight year Idaho State has defeated a Mountain West school. Last year the Bengals beat Boise State 72-70 in Boise. 

Montana Western Notes
Jared Stutzman had a season-high two steals and two assists. Chidi Udengwu had a season-high nine rebounds and played a career-high 23 minutes. Houston Wahlen banked in a 3-pointer for the final basket against Montana Western. It was the second time he has scored in his Bengal career. Coreyoun Rushing had a season-high five assists. Tarik Cool had a season-high assists six assists. 

ISU Against Power 5 Schools
Since the 2005-06 season, Idaho State has played the following schools from Power 5 conferences. Washington State (7 times) Utah (3 times), Arizona State (2 times), Washington 2 times, Oregon 3 times, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona, Iowa (2 times), Iowa State, Notre Dame, USC, Wisconsin twice, Oregon State, UCLA, Texas A&M, Illinois, Texas Tech and Kanas. Idaho State's last win over a Power 5 team was a 62-57 win at Oregon on Dec. 3, 1986. 

A Cool Evening in Colorado Springs
Tarik Cool had the 14th best single-game performance in Idaho State history  with a career-high 41 points in an 89-79 win at Air Force. His 41 points was the most since Lawrence Butler scored 41 on Feb. 10, 1979 and it was the sixth most points Air Force has allowed an opposing player. Cool scored his 41 points on 11-17 shooting from the field. He was a perfect 15-15 from the foul line to go along with 4-8 shooting from the three-point line. He added five rebounds and three assists to his stat line. His 15 free throws was the second-most made in school history. Chris Hansen was a perfect 17-17 from the foul line in 2015. His performance also earned him the Big Sky Conference Player of the Week.
