POCATELLO, Idaho-
The Idaho State women's basketball team fought hard in a 70-52 loss to Oklahoma State on Tuesday night in Stillwater, Ok.

The Bengals shot 32 percent from the field (18-56) and 28 percent (5-18) from the three-point line. ISU was an impressive 11-12 from the free throw line, led by Dora Goles who was a perfect 4-4.

"We made it a good game," said Head Coach Seton Sobolewski. "We played with great toughness and effort."

Callie Bourne was the only Bengal in double-digits with 14 points going 5-11 from the field, 2-3 from beyond the three-point arc, and 2-2 from the free throw line. Bourne also produced a game-high 11 rebounds to earn herself a double-double.

Ors secured nine points, Goles finished with eight points and four assists followed by Montana Oltrogge with six points.

Idaho State out-rebounded OSU, 43-38, with 27 boards coming from the defensive side and 16 offensively leading to 12 second chance points. ISU's defense produced ten turnovers and eight steals.

The Bengals ended the first quarter down 17-11 and were able to tie it at 19 early in the second quarter after Oltrogge sunk two-consecutive three-points shots followed by a layup from Bourne. The first half ended in a 30-24 OSU lead.

In the second half, Idaho State cut OSU's lead to one at 30-29 with 8:26 left in the third. ISU would get no closer as OSU went up nine points leading 48-39 heading into the final quarter. Oklahoma State outscored Idaho State 22-13 in the fourth to give them a 70-52 victory.

"Fatigue in the second half led to sloppy play and a lot of turnovers and bad decisions," said Sobolewski.

Idaho State takes on Duke on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 5 p.m. (MST) in Duhman, NC. The game will have Live Stats, Video, and Audio by KISU 91.1 available.
