Bengals Host West Coast Baptist on Wednesday

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team plays its final game of the month of November on Nov. 27 vs. West Coast Baptist. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. in Reed Gym. Jerry Miller and Brad Bugger will call action on 102.5 KMGI with the pregame show beginning at 6:30 p.m. To follow the game online with live audio, video and stats log into isubengals.com. 

Scouting West Coast Baptist 
West Coast Baptist plays in the Pacific Christian Athletic Conference and in the NCCAA. Idaho State is one of five Division 1 programs West Coast Baptist has faced (UNLV, Boise State, Weber State, Idaho State and SUU). 

Recapping Last Week
The Idaho State men's basketball team lost 78-65 to Santa Clara on Friday night at the Leavey Center in Santa Clara, Calif.

Santa Clara shot 60 percent from the field and forced 22 Bengal turnovers. Idaho State shot 37 percent and also forced 22 Bronco turnovers.

ISU was 7-17 from the three-point line while Santa Clara was 6-14. Idaho State was 20-30 from the free throw line and Santa Clara finished 10-12 from the line.

Idaho State out rebounded Santa Clara 31-27. Malik Porter and Chidi Udengwu each had a team-best five rebounds. Udengwu had a season and team-high 12 points while Terik Cool added 11 points.

Santa Clara Notes 
- Idaho State has out rebounded its opponents in all five games. 
- Terik Cool's two steals was a season-high. 
- Jared Stutzman had a season-best four rebounds and he attempted a season best six free throws, making all six.
- Chidi Udengwu had a season-high 12 points. His four field goals made was a season-high and seven field goals attempted was a career-high. 
- Lyle Sutton saw his first action of the season, playing three minutes.
- Houston Wahlen attempted his first career free throws, going 1-2. 
- Austin Smellie tied his season-high in minutes played with 21. 
- Malik Porter made a season-best four free throws on seven attempts. 
- Coreyoun Rushin tied his season-high in steals with two.

Idaho State is second in the country in three-point field goal defense. The Bengals are holding opponents to 17.5 percent from the three-point line. Arkansas is first in the country, holding opponents to 14.1 percent shooting from the three-point line.
