POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's basketball team routed Southern Utah 80-47 in front of 1,146 fans during Saturday's PINK game in Reed Gym. The Bengals are now 15-7 with a 10-3 conference record. Southern Utah fell to 6-16 and 3-10 in Big Sky play.

Idaho State shot 53.3 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from three-point range in the win. It was the fifth time this season ISU posted a field goal percentage of 50 or higher. Meanwhile, the Bengals forced 18 turnovers while holding Southern Utah to a 34.0 field goal percentage and just one three-point basket.

Delaney Moore and
Estefania Ors each had 15 points to lead all players. Moore's career-high 15 points marks the first time all season a player coming off the bench led ISU in scoring. Moore was 5-8 from the floor and Ors was 6-9 while shooting 3-6 from beyond the arc. Both players had two rebounds and Ors added five assists.

Grace Kenyon finished just behind her teammates with 14 points and five rebounds.

Saylair Grandon combined for 15 points and 12 rebounds, andÂ
Kaitlyn Bell tallied a career-high eight points on 3-3 shooting. Of ISU's 12 players to see the court, 10 scored and 11 secured a rebound.

Southern Utah was one step ahead of the Bengals through the first five minutes of play, but Kenyon stormed the lane and netted a put back layup to put Idaho State in the driver's seat shortly after. Â The Bengals pushed the lead to 20 on two occasions in the second quarter and led 37-19 at halftime.

Both teams shot over 40 percent in the third period. Southern Utah outscored and outrebounded Idaho State for the only time but was able to cut its deficit by just two points. The Bengals continued to apply pressure in the fourth quarter and outscored the T-Birds 27-10 to secure the 80-47 victory.

Southern Utah had a trio of players score 33 of its 47 points. Harley Hansen led the team with 12 points and was trailed by Megan Kamps and Jessica Chatman with 11 and 10 respectively. Rebecca Cardenas led SUU on the boards with five rebounds.

Next week the Bengals journey north for a road trip in Montana. The Bengals face the Bobcats Thursday at 7 p.m. and the Grizzlies at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Â
