Biography

Idaho State: (2018-19) Named Second-Team All-Big Sky after averaging 12.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while shooting 43.3 percent overall and 40.5 percent from three in conference play...played and started all 31 games and averaged 12.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the season...was the only Bengal to gather Big Sky Conference Player of the Week honors and did so twice, Dec. 11 and Jan. 8...finished in double figures 21 times...collected a career-high 11 rebounds and added 27 points in her first of two double-doubles of the season against Northern Arizona on Jan. 5...led the team with four 20-point games...finished 8-10 against Utah Valley to help ISU set a new program record with a 66.0 field-goal percentage on Dec. 6, she also tallied a career-high three blocks in the game...posted a career-high eight assists against Portland State on Feb. 2 and again vs. Eastern Washington March 12...became the 19th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points after scoring 19 against Weber State on Feb. 23...appears on ISU's career records list for three-point field goals made (No. 8, 130), three-point field goal percentage (No. 5, 39.0), and games played (No. 8, 115). 

Idaho State: (2017-18) Played and started in all 32 games for the season… averaged 10.9 points, 5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game… was named the U.S. Bank Bengal Athlete of the Week after leading her team with a career-high 28 points in an overtime win against Weber State in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament… finished in double figures 16 times on the year… named to the Big Sky All-Tournament Team after averaging 22.3 points during tournament play.

(2016-17) Named Third Team All-Big Sky after averaging 14.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 44.5 percent from the floor during conference play…for the season, averaged 10.8 points per game (second on squad) and 4.9 rebounds per game (fourth on squad) while shooting 39.6 percent from the floor (fourth on squad)…missed seven games in Feb. and March with a broken finger…finished in double figures 13 times on the season with four 20+ point games…netted a career-high 24 points off 10-of-19 from the field at Idaho on Jan. 14…recorded first career double-double against Weber State on Jan. 14 with 14 points and a career-high 10 rebounds…scored a game-high 18 points off 8-for-11 from the floor, including the game-winning jumper with 2.2 seconds left against Northern Colorado to propel ISU to the semifinals of the Big Sky tournament on March 8...named to the Big Sky all-academic team.

(2015-16): Saw action in 26 games averaging 6.9 minutes per game with a season-high 23 minutes at Sacramento State on Feb. 13…averaged 1.9 points per game and scored in 10 contests with a season-high eight points against Northern Colorado on Feb. 6…was a perfect 4-of-4 from the line with five boards and six total points at Southern Utah on Jan. 28…grabbed a season-high eight boards at Sacramento State on Feb. 13…named to the Big Sky all-academic team.

High School: Graduated from Westview High School in 2015...played basketball and one year of softball...during her career was named first team all-section, second team all-section, most improved and received the team MVP award three separate times...averaged 14 points per game...helped team to four state playoff appearances, a second-place finish in state, a super sectional championship and a new school record for an undefeated regular season...received the Superintendent Award two separate times, is a three-year National Honors Society member and the Congressional Award winner.

Personal: Born December 18, 1997 in Phoenix, Ariz....daughter to Jed Shorty and Penny Grandon...has two brothers, Jourdon Grandon and Michael Purdie... brother Jourdon played football at Arizona and brother Michael played basketball overseas...father played football at Northern Arizona and uncles played football/basketball at Arizona State and played professionally in the NFL...majoring in computer science.
