POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State mens's basketball team closes out the regular season on Saturday, March 9 vs. Idaho. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. in Holt Arena.  Jerry Miller and Brad Bugger will call the game live on 102.5 KMGI with the pregame show beginning at 6:30 p.m. To follow the game online log onto isubengals.com.

Saturday is the final home game for Blake Truman and Sam Dowd. They will be honored prior to the start of the game. Following Saturday's game, Idaho State travels to Boise for the Big Sky Conference tournament.

Scouting Idaho
Idaho is 5-25 and 2-17 in Big Sky Conference play. Trevon Allen leads the Vandals in scoring at 13.6 points a game and Cameron Tyson scores 13.4 points. Jared Rodriguez adds 10.9 points a game. Idaho averages 67.8 points a game and gives up 77.2 points a game. The Vandals shoot .442 percent from the field and opponents shoot .450 percent.

Allen and Tyson average 13.6 points in conference play. Rodriguez averages 11.6 points and 6.8 rebounds in conference. Idaho averages 64.9 points in league and gives up 79.8 points.

Recapping the 91-62 Loss to Eastern Washington
Eastern Washington shot 49 percent (31-63) from the field and 41 percent (15-36) from the three-point line. The Bengals shot 42 percent (24-57) from the field but was held to 14 percent (2-14) from the three-point line.

Kelvin Jones led the Bengals with 17 points. Alonso Walker scored 12 and Chier Maker added 10.

The Bengals were out rebounded 36-28. Alonzo Walker had a team high eight rebounds.

Idaho State trailed 42-40 at halftime. The Bengals were held to three points in the first eight minutes of the second half, allowing Eastern Washington to take a 56-43 lead with 11:56 left in the game.

Eastern Washington led by as many as 31 points late in the second half.

Another 3-point School Record
Idaho State broke the school record it set last year for 3-pointers made in a season. The 2017-18 team made 252 3-pointers and this year's team has now made 254. This year's team has also set the school record for attempts with 693.
