SPOKANE, Wash.- The Idaho State football team had three players named to the 2019 Preseason All-Conference football team on Monday. The preseason team was announced at the league kickoff meetings at the Davenport Hotel.
Representing Idaho State on the preseason all-conference team was
Mitch Gueller,
Kody Graves and
Adkin Aguirre.
Gueller has earned first-team all-conference the last two seasons. In 2018 he caught 62 passes for 1,259 yards and nine touchdowns.
Graves earned third-team all-conference last year while finishing second on the team in tackles with 83. He had two interceptions and one sack.
Aguirre finished third on the team in tackles with 77 and he had a team-best three interceptions. He earned honorable mention all-conference as a starting safety.
UC Davis quarterback Jake Maier was named the Preseason Offensive MVP while Montana linebacker Dante Olson was named the Preseason Defensive MVP.
