POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State volleyball team concluded the Boise State Tournament falling 3-1 to UC Irvine on Sept. 20.
Idaho State won an intense first set, 27-25, averaging a .222 attacking percentage and 18 kills.
The next three sets were in favor of the Anteaters, 25-15, 26-24, and 25-22.
The Bengals fought hard recording 47 kills and 51 digs on the match.
"We're excited to get back and prepare for conference," Head Coach
Sammi Stuart said.
Sophomore
Raegan Steiner was named on the All-Tournament team, leading the Bengals with 11 kills for a .409 attacking percentage on the match. Sophomore
Duquesne Moratzka with 10 kills and nine digs.
Senior
Haylie Keck had eight kills and nine digs.
The Bengals start conference play next week on Thursday, Sept. 26 against Southern Utah at 6:30 p.m. (MST) in Cedar City, Utah and Saturday, Sept. 28 against Northern Arizona at 2 p.m. (MST) in Flagstaff, Ariz.
