POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State volleyball team swept Southern Utah, 3-0, in the conference opener on Sept. 26 in Cedar City, Utah.
 
The Bengals took the first two sets, 25-19, and finished with a 26-24 third set win to give them the sweep.
 
The team recorded a season match-high .343 attacking percentage, a season three-set match high of 44 kills, a season three-set match high of 40 assists, and ten blocks.
"Tonight we showed resilience," Head Coach 
Sammi Stuart said. "We were down in all three sets and maintained our composure well. I like who we are becoming."
 
Sophomore 
Duquesne Moratzka was unstoppable, recording a career match-high 18 kills, a career match-high .471 attacking percentage, a career match-high 5 blocks, and 5 digs.
 
Senior 
Haylie Keck had seven kills and a season match-high 16 digs.
 
Senior 
Brooke Pehrson and junior 
Taylor Meeks each tallied 7 kills for the Bengals. Meeks also had six blocks.
 
Redshirt freshman 
Andri Dewey recorded 34 assists and 12 digs in the match.
 
Idaho State continues conference play on Saturday, Sept. 28 in Flagstaff, Ariz. as they face Northern Arizona at 2 p.m. (MST). The match will feature
