Women's Basketball Adds Saylair Grandon to All-Decade Team

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's basketball program honors Saylair Grandon as a member of its all-decade team.

Grandon, a Phoenix, Ariz. native, earned her stripes as a Bengal from 2015-19. During the 2016-17 season, Grandon was awarded third team All-Big Sky Conference and would go on to earn second team All-Big Sky for her efforts during the 2018-19 season. She made the 2018 All-Big Sky Tournament team and would help lead ISU to a WNIT appearance in 2019. She sits in ISU's 1,000 point club with 1,066 points, ranks No. 5 on ISU's all-time career 3-point field-goal percentage with 39 percent, and No. 8 in all-time career 3-pointers made with 130.

"What can I say about Saylair Grandon... I love that girl!" said Head Coach Seton Sobolewski. "Her easy going, friendly, and funny attitude made her a joy to coach. As a player she was a scorer with an amazing shooting touch who holds several three point shooting records."

The all-decade team strives to honor those who have made a significant impact to the Idaho State women's basketball program.

There are nine selections to the all-decade team. Three selections will be announced each week for three weeks, ending on Thursday, Sept. 24.

To be eligible for the all-decade team, a student-athlete must have played at least one year between the 2010-11 and 2019-20 academic years.
