Women's Basketball Honors Grace Kenyon As Member of All-Decade Team

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's basketball program honors Grace Kenyon as a member of its all-decade team.

Kenyon, a Bainbridge Island, Wash., native, played for the Bengals as a guard from 2013-19. Kenyon was a force to be reckoned with as she was named to the 2017 All-Tournament team and went on to earn second team All-Big Sky (2017-18) and first team All-Big Sky her senior year (2018-19). She currently ranks No. 3 on ISU's all-time rebound list with 838 boards, No. 4 all-time assists with 357, and No. 5 all-time scorers with 1,471 points. Kenyon is just one of 14 Bengals to score 1,000 points and over 500 rebounds and is one of only two Bengals to ever have a triple-double in a game.

"Grace was an all-around great player," said Head Coach Seton Sobolewski. "She could score, pass, rebound and defend at a high level. She is very smart, tough and knows how to lead. If you were going to start a team from scratch, Grace Kenyon is the player you pick first and build around."

The all-decade team strives to honor those who have made a significant impact to the Idaho State women's basketball program.

There are nine selections to the all-decade team. Three selections will be announced each week for three weeks, ending on Thursday, Sept. 24.

To be eligible for the all-decade team, a student-athlete must have played at least one year between the 2010-11 and 2019-20 academic years.
