POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's basketball program names Lindsey Reed as its final member of the all-decade team.
Â
Reed came to Pocatello from her hometown of Kingman, Ariz., to play for the Bengals from 2010-2014. The 5'9 guard left ISU with an array of accomplishments including a first team All-Big Sky nod (2013-14) and was a two-time Big Sky All-Tournament team member (2012, 2014). During the 2012 season, Reed was a part of the team that won a Big Sky Championship and made it to its third NCAA Tournament appearance. In 2013, Reed helped lead ISU to a WNIT appearance. Her legacy still lasts as she sits as ISU's No. 4 all-time scorer with 1,492 points and No. 9 all-time rebounders with 691 boards to make her just one of 14 ISU players to have over 1,000 points and over 500 rebounds.
Â
"Lindsey was the perfect combination of talent, energy, competitiveness and passion," said Head Coach
Seton Sobolewski. "She is currently one of our programs top five scorers of all time and a future Bengal Athletics Hall of Famer. A player like Lindsey doesn't come around very often and I feel honored I got to be her coach."
Â
The all-decade team strives to honor those who have made a significant impact to the Idaho State women's basketball program.Â
Â
There are nine selections to the all-decade team. To be eligible for the all-decade team, a student-athlete must have played at least one year between the 2010-11 and 2019-20 academic years.
