HILLSBORO, Ore.- The Idaho State football team lost 31-10 to Portland State on Saturday afternoon at Hillsboro Stadium. Idaho State turned the ball over four times to help spark the Vikings to the victory.
Idaho State turned the ball over on its first three possessions to fall behind 17-0 in the first quarter.
With 7:04 left in the quarter,
Jared Scott caught a one-handed 12-yard touchdown reception from
Hunter Hays.
The Vikings led 24-7 at halftime and added a third quarter touchdown to take the 31-7 lead.
David Allish connected on a 30-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter for the Bengals final points.
Idaho State plays at Montana State on Saturday, Oct. 23 in Bozeman, Montana. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
