Bengals Drop Contest at Missouri

 

POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State women's basketball fell 75-47 to the University of Missouri Tigers Sunday afternoon.

The Bengals shot 17 of 45 from the field and we held to four of 24 from behind the three-point line.

Idaho State had a slow start to the game when, for the second-straight game, they were held to single-digit points in the first-quarter.

With 4:25 left to play in the third quarter, Montana Oltrogge broke the Bengals three-pointer drought.

The Bengals didn't give up in the game. After three quarters of single-digit scoring, The Orange and Black show 57 percent from the field and were perfect from the free-throw line as they scored 25 in the fourth.

The game ended with the Missouri Tigers on top 75-47.

Tomekia Whitman scored seven points with seven rebounds and four steals.

Dora Goles and Montana Oltrogge led the team in scoring with eight points each.

Next up for the Bengals is the Cancun Challenge. The Bengals will face off with the Toledo Rockets on thanksgiving at 6:30 p.m.
