POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team lost 73-70 to Northern Arizona on Saturday evening in Reed Gym.
In a game where neither team led by more than eight points, NAU pulled away in the final four minutes to earn the victory. The game was tied at 56 with 4:10 remaining when NAU went on a 12-4 run to lead 68-60 with 43 seconds left in the game.

Robert Ford III 3-pointer in the final second to make it a 73-70 game was the closest ISU got the rest of the way.
The Bengals shot 50 percent from the field (24-48) but was out rebounded 33-23 on the glass. Idaho State took care of the ball only turning the ball over nine times.
Ford led the Bengals in scoring with 13 points while
Zach Visentin and
Tarik Cool each had 11.
Austin Smellie finished with 10. Visentin was a career-best 9-10 from the free throw line.
NAU shot 43.5 percent from the field and was 24-26 from the foul line.
Idaho State led 28-25 at halftime and led 38-30 after the first five minutes of the second half. Idaho State maintained a slim lead until the final four minutes of the game.
Idaho State is back on the court Dec. 8 for an 8 p.m. (MST) contest at Cal. The Bengals then host Bethesda on Dec. 18.
