POCATELLO, Idaho- It was a clean sweep for the Idaho State women's tennis team on Saturday at Reed Gym. The Bengals swept Colorado Mesa 7-0 in a doubleheader.
In the opening match of the day
Hristina Cvetkovic and
Hana Cho earned a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Angela Walker and
Alexandra Arkhipov won 6-3 at No. 2 doubles and Sol and Lola
O'Lideadha won 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play,
Cvetkovic won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles and
Arkhipov won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Cho, won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles while Sol
O'Lideadha won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
Angela Walker won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Lola
O'Lideadha won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
In the second match of the day, Cvetkovic and Cho picked up a 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles and Walker and Arkhipov had a 6-2 doubles win at No. 2.
Keilyn Kunimoto and
Adriene Pavek won 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Arkhipov won 6-2, 7-5 at No. 1 singles. Cho won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Walker earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles.
At No. 4 singles,
Lola O'Lideadha won 6-2, 6-2 and
Adriene Pavek won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
Keilyn Kunimoto won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
Idaho State is back in action on Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. at the University of Montana. The Bengals then play at Montana State on Feb. 27 at 10 a.m.
