After 699 Days Softball Returns to Conference Play at Miller Ranch

POCATELLO, Idaho – For the first time in 699 days the Idaho State softball team will host a Big Sky Conference game at Miller Ranch stadium in Pocatello.

ISU Softball hosts Southern Utah in a three-game series this weekend. Game one of the Friday, April, 2nd doubleheader starts at Noon. Game three of the series is Saturday, Apr. 3rd at 12 p.m.

Mark Liptak and KISU 91.1 will be on the call for game one of the doubleheader on Friday and game three of the series on Saturday.

Bengal Bites

The Bengals are No. 1 in the conference with a .301 team batting average. The Team is hitting .395 SLG% and .376 ob%

ISU is tied at No. 2 in fielding percentage having only committed 15 errors on the season for a percentage of .964

The Bengal defense is ranked No. 3 in the conference in runs allowed with 117 on the season.  

In the overall statistics, Idaho State holds four of the top-10 spots. Morgan Hess is Ranked No. 3, Isabel Cargill is ranked No. 4, Emma Bordenkecher is ranked No. 6 and Rheanne Lewis is No. 8.
