Speaking of the importance of getting these early season looks, Head Coach Nate Houle mentioned.

"This meet is a preview for Big Sky Championships. It is important to see where we are and make that measurement. It helps to see the data and see if we've objectively improved."

Houle said he is pleased with the preparation his team put in during the summer to prepare for the fall.

"You have to invest early to reap the rewards later," Houle said. "They understand this is a prerequisite to having success."

Houle specifically mentioned the work of Zak Montoya.

"Zak Montoya has put a load of work in this summer," Houle said. "Zak is a guy that's ready to make something happen! There is a load of individual potential with him."
