POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State Bengals fell to the Sacramento State Hornets 3-1 Saturday evening in Reed Gym.
The Bengals started the evening strong, handily taking the first set behind the Bengals .207 hitting percentage. The Bengal was on fire in the set, holding the Hornets to a .000 hitting percentage and outblocking Sac State 3-1.
After the first set, the Hornets controlled the match, winning three straight sets to finish the match with the 3-1 victory.
Emrie Satuala led the Bengals with 13 kills and a .429 hitting percentage.
ISU ended the night with seven blocks and had seven service aces to Sac State's five.
The Bengals are back on the road next week as they head north to take on Montana and Montana State.
