POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State football team lost 24-10 to Northern Arizona on Saturday afternoon in Holt Arena.
The Bengals trailed the entire game, falling behind 10-0 and 17-7 at halftime.
Idaho State had 374 total yards while NAU finished with 297 yards.
Hunter Hays was 22-37 with one touchdown and one interception.
Xavier Guillory caught five passes for 88 yards and
Hunter Hays led the rushing attack with 21 carries for 90 yards.
Josh Alford led the Bengal defense with 10 tackles.
Charles Ike finished with nine.
Idaho State points came when Benji Omayebu caught 18-yard pass from Hays in the second quarter.
Ian Hershey kicked a 24-yard field goal with 8:08 left in the fourth quarter.
Idaho State has a bye this upcoming week before traveling to UC Davis on Nov. 5.
