Game 6: Idaho State at No. 4 Montana State

POCATELLO, Idaho-  The Idaho State football team plays its second straight Top 5 team on Saturday when it plays at No. 4 Montana State at 2 p.m. on Oct. 8. Jerry Miller and Kody Graves will call the action live on KISU with the pregame show beginning at 1:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN + and Scripps media and seen locally on the CW Station in SE Idaho. 

Idaho State is looking for its first win in Bozeman since a 23-17 win in 2003. MSU has won the last seven meetings at Bobcat Stadium.

Bengal fans in SE Idaho can watch the game on the CW Station. 
On Sparklight it is channel 29. On Direct TV it is channel 9 and on Dish it is channel 2. On over the air television it will be televised on channel 8.3 in Idaho Falls and Pocatello.

Montana State enters Saturday's game with a 4-1 record and a 2-0 mark in Big Sky Conference play. The Bobcats rush for 299.8 yards a game and pass for 183.2. The MSU defense holds opponents to 385 yards of total offense. Sean Chambers has 12 rushing touchdowns and five touchdown passes.

Idaho State's last win over a Top 5 team was vs. No. 5 Eastern Washington. The Bengals won 34-30 in 2005. Since then the Bengals are 0-14 vs. Top 5 teams. Six of those 14 games have come against the University of Montana. 

Idaho State is 2-3 in the last four meetings vs. ranked teams. The Bengals last win over a ranked opponent was a 27-17 win over then No. 7 UC Davis in 2021. The Bengals also beat No. 24 Idaho 24-22 in the 2021 spring season.
