POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State volleyball fell to the NAU Lumberjacks in five sets Saturday Afternoon (15-25, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23, 4-15).
The Bengals fall to 13-14 on the year and 5-9 in Big Sky Conference play.
"Serve and pass and attack errors were the difference," remarked Head Coach Sean Carter postgame. "We had a really hard time keeping them out of system and trying to defend in system was really tough. We played well enough to win the match at times but we broke down in a few rotations. We are really excited to put this behind us and get back home to play in front of our home fans for a spot in the conference tournament."
The Bengals and Jacks fought hard all five sets but the Jacks were able to keep it close in all five sets.
Sadie Bluth led the team in total kills with 15.
Emrie Satuala had 13 kills with a .296 hitting percentage. Satuala also tacked on five blocks.
The Bengals are back home this week for the final two regular-season matches of the year.
