POCATELLO, Idaho - The Idaho State women's basketball team fell 58-57 to the University of San Diego in day one of the Mission on Dana Bay Tournament.
Idaho State Shot 52.4 percent from the floor but could not overcome 27 turnovers and the Torerros were able to win the game with a pair of last-minute free throws.
Laura Bello had a career game for the Bengals, recording the 2nd double-double for ISU this season, scoring 20 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the floor and grabbing boards.
Finley Garnett also scored in double-digits for the bengals with 12 points on three of seven FGs.
The Bengals won the battle on the glass, grabbing 36 rebounds to USD's 26.
The Bengals have one more game in San Diego this weekend against the California Baptist Lancers. Tip-off is set for 3:00 PM MT.
