Pocatello, ID- The Idaho State Bengals will be traveling to Phoenix, Arizona this week where they will be battling against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes Tuesday night in the Grand Canyon University Arena. This will be the second ever meeting between these two universities as the Bengals beat the Antelopes in their only previous matchup in 2014, 67-51.

GCU comes into the game with a record of 8-4 on the year, winning their previous matchup against Pepperdine last weekend by ten in overtime. The Antelope are averaging 71.8 points per game on 43.8 percent shooting from the field and 33.33 percent shooting from deep.

The Antelope have been absolutely lock down early on this season especially on the defensive end of the floor and the glass. Currently GCU ranks 19
th in the nation in scoring defense (59.8 PPG) and 14

The Idaho State men's basketball team lost to the University of Washington Huskies Saturday night, 90-55, in Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. This win will lift the Huskies' record to 9-3 on the year.

The Bengals were led by center,
Brayden Parker, who finished with a team high 15 points and seven rebounds while shooting 7-of-12 from the field.
Brock Mackenzie chipped in 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting, and
Maleek Arington tallied nine points, three assists, and three steals off the bench for Idaho State.
